Sevillanas are played in sets of four, the ones in this book can be played in any order leaving you free to make your own sets of four.

The book explains the structure of Sevillanas and the main techniques needed are explained;

• Fast four finger rasgueo
• Thumb positions to give you more control over the sound of the rasgueo
• Apagado

Each Sevillana begins with a rhythm section and this is explained with diagrams showing the notation, fingering and timing of the rhythm. After the music and cifra (tabs) there is an alternative rhythm shown, which is then expanded to show how to experiment with altering the rhythm section.

A resource pack is available to download, and it audio clips of the tunes played at a typical speed.
